STARTED PULLETS, RAISED WITH CARE
Started pullets for sale in Napanee, Ontario are offered from select rare, heritage, coloured egg and project lines. Pullets are raised here at Only Chicks Farm and are available seasonally from approximately March to November, depending on hatch rates, grow-outs, weather, flock plans, and the birds required for our breeding program.
Started pullets are a great option for customers who do not want to begin with day-old chicks. They are fully feathered, past the brooder stage, off heat, free-ranging outdoors and much further along toward laying age.

This list shows pullets we currently have on the ground that may be ready to go to new homes. It is updated as often as possible, but may not reflect real-time availability. Birds may be reserved, held back for our breeding program, or removed from availability as they continue to mature and be assessed.

HOW PULLET REQUESTS WORK
1. Review the current availability and pricing
Review the pullets currently listed on this page as well as our pricelist page.
Only request breeds shown as currently available or ready soon.
2. Submit a pullet request
Choose the breed and number of pullets you are ready to purchase.
Submitting a form does not reserve or hold any birds.
3. We confirm what is available
We will contact you with:
The number available
Their approximate age
The price per pullet
The available pickup date or timeframe
4. Pay the deposit to reserve
A deposit of $30 per pullet is required.
The deposit is applied toward the final purchase price.
Your pullets are not reserved until payment is received.
Payment must be received within 12 hours of our confirmation.
Requests without payment will be cancelled automatically, and the pullets will remain available to other customers.
5. Arrange pickup
Once the deposit is received, we will confirm your pickup arrangements.
The remaining balance is due according to the payment instructions provided.

BREEDS, COLOURS AND SELECTION
Reservations are made by breed or project group, rather than by one exact individual bird.
We do not photograph every individual pullet or offer photo-based selection.
The photographs shown on our website are examples of our breeding birds, projects and grow-out groups.
Our landrace and project birds may naturally hatch in a wide range of colours, patterns and appearances. This variation is part of what makes these groups unique.
LOCAL PICKUP
Started pullets are available through appointment & local gate pickup only at our farm in Napanee, Ontario.
Ventilated transport boxes are available for $7 each and generally hold up to four birds.
