We ship thousands of hatching eggs across Canada each year.

Please review the information below carefully before submitting an order request. Shipping costs and options are an important part of the ordering process and are not calculated on a casual or inquiry-only basis. 

Shipping Costs & Delivery Time

Shipping costs are not flat-rate and are determined by several factors, including distance traveled, parcel weight, number of eggs, delivery speed, and courier selection.

We ship using multiple couriers through our FlagShip account, which provides access to commercially discounted rates that are often significantly lower than booking directly with a single courier.

Based on our experience, Purolator Express has consistently been the most reliable and fastest option across Canada. Next-day (1-day) shipping is strongly recommended for hatching eggs to support optimal hatch rates.

Estimated Shipping Ranges (Guideline Only)

The following ranges are based on recent shipments and are provided for planning purposes only. They are not quotes.

1-day Express Shipping
(typical hatching egg orders: 1–3 dozen)

• Ontario & Quebec: $20–$30

• Manitoba: $26–$40

• Alberta: $35–$45

• New Brunswick: $45–$50

• Nova Scotia: $50–$58

• Prince Edward Island: $52–$60

• Saskatchewan: $50–$65

• Newfoundland: $55–$64

• British Columbia: $60–$75

**Shipping costs increase with distance, parcel size, weight, and carrier routing. Locations requiring air service or remote delivery may incur higher charges. ** 

In many cases, shipping costs remain similar when increasing from one dozen to multiple dozens within the same shipment.

Final shipping costs are confirmed close to shipment and may vary due to carrier rates, fuel surcharges, seasonal conditions, rural routing, and weather-protection materials.

Shipping Quote Policy

Due to a high volume of inquiries we are unable to calculate shipping costs for individuals who are not yet ready to proceed or are still in the decision-making stage.

• Shipping rates may vary month to month due to carrier pricing and fuel surcharges.
• Final quotes are confirmed approximately one week prior to shipment.
• Reservations are scheduled when shipment timing is approaching.
• Weather protection materials (such as heat packs) may affect final shipping cost.

Packaging

All hatching eggs are packaged with utmost care to minimize the risk of damage during transit. EggArmor packaging is required for shipped hatching egg orders and is offered as part of the shipping process.

Packaging methods are not optional or interchangeable. Proper packaging is essential for protecting eggs during shipment and supporting the best possible outcomes.

Shipping Timeline & Expectations

• Orders ship in reservation sequence.
•  Exact ship dates are offered when safe shipping conditions allow.
• You will be contacted with an available ship date. If the ship date does not work for you, another suitable date will be offered.

• Exact ship dates cannot be guaranteed due to weather, laying cycles, and egg availability.
• Only freshly collected eggs are selected for you.
• Timing may shift within your window as conditions evolve.

 Boooking & Tracking is provided within a week- few days before your shipment is scheduled to depart.

Shipping speed, courier performance, and handling are outside of our control once a package leaves our care. While we take every precaution in packaging, transit conditions and carrier handling may vary.
