Only Chicks Farm ships thousands of hatching eggs across Ontario and Canada each year using secure protective packaging, fast 1-2 day courier options, and careful shipment timing to give eggs the best possible chance in transit.

Shipping Costs & Delivery Time

Only Chicks Farm ships across Canada through our FlagShip business account, providing access to discounted commercial shipping rates with major couriers, including FedEx, UPS, Purolator, and others.

This allows us to compare multiple shipping services, delivery speeds, and rates for your destination. Customers choose their preferred shipping option based on the available services, delivery times, and pricing.

One-day (next-day) delivery is strongly recommended for hatching eggs and is available to many Canadian destinations.

Shipping Quotes & Booking

Exact shipping options and rates are provided for confirmed orders within approximately one week of the scheduled shipment. Courier pricing fluctuates, so we do not prepare individual shipping quotes months in advance or for general inquiries.

**Shipping costs increase with distance, parcel size, weight, and carrier routing. Locations requiring air service or remote delivery may incur higher charges. **

In many cases, shipping costs remain similar when increasing from one dozen to multiple dozens within the same shipment.

Packaging

All hatching eggs are packaged with utmost care to minimize the risk of damage during transit. EggArmor packaging is required for shipped hatching egg orders and is offered as part of the shipping process.

Packaging methods are not optional or interchangeable. Proper packaging is essential for protecting eggs during shipment and supporting the best possible outcomes.

Shipping Timeline & Expectations

• Orders ship in reservation sequence.
• Exact ship dates are offered when safe shipping conditions allow.
• You will be contacted with an available ship date. If the ship date does not work for you, another suitable date will be offered.

• Exact ship dates cannot be guaranteed due to weather, laying cycles, and egg availability.
• Only freshly collected eggs are selected for you.
• Timing may shift within your window as conditions evolve.

Courier boooking & tracking information are provided shortly before your shipment is scheduled.

Important Notes

Shipping speed, courier performance, and package handling are beyond our control once an order leaves our care.

We take every precaution to ensure our hatching eggs are of the highest possible quality, including selecting only fresh eggs, conducting fertility testing every two weeks, and using high-quality protective packaging materials to minimize the risk of damage during transit.

However, shipping conditions, temperature fluctuations, and courier handling can vary. While we do everything possible to give your eggs the best start, safe arrival and hatch rates cannot be guaranteed.

HATCHING EGG PACKING

An example of our standard protective packing used for hatching egg shipments. Each order is cushioned, spaced and packed with 1/2" + - foam layers (top and bottom) to minimize movement during transit. Each shipped order includes a branded fridge magnet and hatching egg tip card. Extra eggs are given when hens allow us to do so.
